What is Hospice?

Hospice is not a place. It is a philosophy of care that focuses on the highest level of comfort and quality for end of life.

Under Wings of Hope care, we focus on providing comfort and stability for patients at home. We aim to improve the patient’s quality of life by addressing their physical, emotional, and spiritual needs, allowing them to spend their remaining time in a familiar and supportive environment.

Your hospice/palliative care is unmistakable

I am writing to tell you what extraordinary, caring, compassionate people we have had caring for my mom. From the initial meeting with Angela to Carol our nurse and the CNA’s Rosie, Cindy, and Michelle. Your hospice/palliative care is unmistakable. Carol advised us every step of the way to make her comfortable. The CNA’s Rosie, Cindy, and Michelle were gentle & caring, as mom told me many times after they left. When she passed, I received a call from Chaplin Elsa a few days later. That call was something that I didn’t know I needed. Her kind words and prayers helped me understand mom’s passing. I truly don’t know how you do this hospice care but thank God for people like you.
